Enfant Terrible

Brut

Enfant Terrible is Guerdon's signature statement: a multi-vintage Brut blended from 82% Pinot Noir and 18% Chardonnay, incorporating reserve wines drawn from prior harvests. After 36 months on the lees, more than twice the appellation minimum, the wine is released with genuine autolytic complexity. Rich and structured, it retains the acidity to pair as readily with food as to drink on its own.

NOSE

Candied citrus and ripe orchard fruit open first, followed by classic brioche and toasted hazelnut, the hallmarks of extended lees contact. A thread of citrus confit weaves through the aromatic profile, giving way to stone fruit as the wine opens in the glass.

PALATE

The mousse is fine and persistent. On the palate, the wine shows roundness and length in equal measure: a generous mid-palate of ripe apple and dried fruit, supported by naturally refreshing acidity. The finish is long, creamy, and clean.
