Brut Rosé
Reine Rebelle is a Brut Rosé assembled from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, aged for 36 months, more than twice the appellation requirement. The extended time on the lees builds a velvety texture and genuine aromatic complexity beneath the wine's vivid colour. It is a rosé with structure, not a rosé by concession.
NOSE
Fine, precise aromas of fresh strawberry and wild cherry lead the nose, sharpened by a suggestion of dark chocolate that signals depth rather than sweetness. The fruit is clean and defined, with a floral undercurrent that emerges as the wine breathes.
PALATE
The attack is soft but present, with the mousse integrated seamlessly into the wine's texture. Red berry fruit carries through the mid-palate, balanced by a lively acidity that gives the wine length and direction. The finish resolves with a hint of cocoa and the slight mineral grip of the Côte des Bar.
