When nature and time join forces, the result is “Roi Soleil.” This vintage champagne (2016) is the crowning glory of craftsmanship. A majestic marriage of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. After years of ageing in a dark cellar, it now comes to light — complex, radiant, and with an aristocratic consistency.
NOSE
The aroma alone promises nobility: the finest notes of pastries and patisserie are paired with ripe quinces and pears. With a little air, aromas of white flowers, mandarin, and a hint of vanilla unfold.
PALATE
On the palate, it is firm yet creamy. A lively freshness perfectly balances the ripe fruit notes of nectarine and citrus. The finish is mineral, long, and characterised by a silky texture that lingers for a long time.
