The Cooperative

In 1962, winegrowing families from three villages in the Côte des Bar joined together to press their grapes collectively and secure the quality of their harvest. Today, 51 member families farm 127 hectares of vines across eight villages. Guerdon is produced from this single source. There is no blending with purchased grapes from outside the cooperative. The provenance is exact and fixed.

Sustainable Viticulture

Our growers operate under Viticulture Raisonnée, a structured approach to sustainable farming that covers soil management, phytosanitary treatments, biodiversity, and the reduction of chemical inputs. The cooperative monitors compliance monthly, and 80% of our member vineyards carry the Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) label. The soils these families farm are the same soils their grandparents farmed, and their grandchildren will farm after them.
