Order

​The order, including the order for the shipment of the ordered goods, is considered to be placed and the order is considered to be accepted as soon as the customer has accepted these General Terms and Conditions via the Internet by clicking on the “Accept General Terms and Conditions” button and has placed the order.

​Prices and terms of payment

​All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) including VAT. PB reserves the right to make price changes. Such price changes have no effect on goods already ordered. The payment of the ordered goods by the customer is made either by invoice or via the credit card chosen by him by releasing the amount for payment via the Internet in the input window provided for this purpose. PB reserves the right in individual cases to demand payment in advance after receipt of the order.

A minimum order value is not given at Guerdon Champagne.

Delivery

​The delivery area covers the whole of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The ordered goods will be delivered to the delivery address specified by the customer when placing the order. Delivery is made via Swiss Post with PostPac Priority on working days without signature. In the case of delivery by deposit, PB cannot accept liability in the event of loss or theft. For orders placed before 15.00, delivery will be made on the next working day. If delivery is not made within this period, an additional period of three working days shall apply. If the delivery is not received by the customer within this period, he has the right to withdraw from the order against reimbursement of the purchase price and the transport costs. PB assumes no liability for consequential damages due to delayed delivery.

Warranty

​In principle, PB undertakes to offer only qualitatively flawless goods that meet all the requirements of Swiss legislation on “www.guerdon-champagne.com” and to publish correct data regarding the properties of the goods for sale. If incorrect or defective goods (broken bottles) have been delivered, the customer must notify PB of the defect within five working days of delivery, by e-mail mail@flaschenpost.ch or by post. If no goods were delivered, the customer must contact PB within 1 year of the delivery date. If this notification is made in good time, the client will be credited the corresponding amount to his account. If the goods originally ordered are no longer available, the customer will be refunded the purchase price and shipping costs (in the event that the customer only ordered the returned wine). In the case of wines on tap, the following regulation applies: the value of the goods can be credited to the customer’s account within 2 years, provided that the bottles concerned are still 2/3 full and are returned to us.

​Obligations of the customer

​The customer guarantees that he is authorized to conclude the contract in accordance with applicable law, in particular that he is eighteen years old. It is the customer’s responsibility to enter the correct delivery address. The customer must check the delivery within five working days at the latest. Damaged/incorrect delivery items are to be kept at PB’s disposal for return. The client expressly authorises PB to pass on the order data entered to the relevant wine merchant who delivers the goods ordered. The data may also be used for sending newsletters/promotions etc. in the wine sector. Any other use or disclosure is excluded. The customer authorises PB to make copies and electronic recordings (log files) of any transactions for their proof.

Disclaimer

​Any liability on the part of PB and its auxiliary persons for direct or indirect damage, errors or other disadvantages which may arise for the customer from the use of the order or the purchase of the goods, over and above that specified in point 5, is – as far as legally permissible – excluded.

Intellectual property rights

​The client acknowledges that all intangible rights to names/designations, designs, concepts and software associated with the website “www.guerdon-champagne.com”, irrespective of their protectability under special law, are the sole property of PB.

Data protection

​The transmission of all credit card data takes place via the certified SSL technology (encryption technology) and Secure E-Commerce. The customer’s credit card number is therefore always protected and transmitted unreadable for third parties.

​Web analysis with Google Analytics

​This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
