Origin & Craft

The reward begins in southern Champagne.

The old Guerdon story matters: limestone soils, a network of small growers, sustainable vineyard practice, first pressing selections, and long bottle maturation. The new site keeps that depth, but makes it easier to read.

Southern Champagne

Eight neighbouring villages

The harvest from small neighbouring villages gives Guerdon its base of body, fruit, and complexity. The southern climate brings a generous profile while the chalk and limestone keep the wines precise.

Quality begins in the soil

Sustainable values and high quality standards guide the vineyard work. Practices are monitored regularly, with support from the Chambre d'Agriculture.

Selection

First pressing, cleaner expression

Only premium selections and the first pressing, the Cuvee, are used for Guerdon production. The aim is clarity, texture, and a long, refined finish.

Time

Longer bottle maturation

Guerdon gives time a visible role. Extended maturation in bottle builds fine mousse, depth, and the calm, creamy texture that separates a slow-made Champagne from the everyday.

Driven by Passion. Crafted by Time.

Four decisions you can taste.

Luxury Champagne clients care about more than a label. They look for origin, method, serving pleasure, and proof that the bottle has earned its place on the table.

01

Limestone and fruit

Southern Champagne gives Guerdon generous fruit; chalky soils keep the finish fresh and structured.

02

Grower precision

A network of 51 growers supports limited production with a focus on quality, sustainable practice, and consistency.

03

First pressing

The Cuvee selection protects purity and gives the wines a cleaner line from vineyard to glass.

04

Cellar patience

Long bottle maturation builds fine bubbles, texture, and the reward Guerdon is named for.

The Guerdon Story

A reward shaped by people, place, and time.

Guerdon means the reward. The name dates back to the 14th century and captures the spirit of the house: appreciation for the region, the growers, and the patient work behind each bottle.

Limited annual production keeps the collection focused. The black bottle brings the room to attention; the wine inside has to justify the moment.
